We have received two grants from the UK Government via the Illegal Wildlife Trade Challenge Fund, which is our primary source of funding.  The WILDS Project ran from 2018-2021, and the CLAW Project runs 2023-2026.

The Lancaster Environment Centre at Lancaster University hosts the Conservation-Litigation.org network, providing pro-bono administrative support and staff time.

The Arcus Foundation has provided core support to our team since 2022, notably to support our legal analyses in Great Apes range states, and to support the development of our Community of Practice and communications.

Orangutan Outreach has supported two of our partners to cover their legal costs in cases related to orangutan conservation.

DLA Piper has provided pro-bono support since 2022 , both with our legal analyses and with courtroom litigation in one active case.

Law and Wildlife provides pro-bono support, notably expertise for the legal analyses and project administration.
