Unlocking the potential of strategic conservation litigation will require non-traditional partnerships, willing donors
and plaintiffs ready to take action in court.
We are seeking collaborations and supporters to enable strategic lawsuits to restore injured biodiversity around the world. This includes prospective plaintiffs who have cases to litigate, funders ready to support legal action, public support to publicise cases through creative art and media, and researchers interested in environmental law and conservation.
Propose a case
If you know of a specific case that has resulted in serious harm to biodiversity and is backed by evidence, please contact us. We are currently focused on cases involving illegal wildlife trade. We are happy to discuss whether a liability suit seeking remedies is viable. We can provide advice on how to develop damage claims, and help recruit scientific and legal support.
Support a case
We have active and upcoming cases that need your support. We collaborate with volunteer scientists and lawyers, but there are still costs for legal and scientific research, investigation, legal teams, strategy development and publicity. Please contact us if you can offer support.
